Join Kelly Lawson for a three-hour workshop on the Relaxation Response. Activation of the rest and relaxation nervous system (the Parasympathetic Nervous System) response can mend internal tension brought on by stress. In this workshop we will explore various techniques such as, aromatherapy, breath-work, yin and restorative yoga, and yoga nidra, aimed at eliciting this relaxation response. The reduction of physical, emotional, and mental stressors will give rise to the natural state of ease where healing and regeneration occurs at every level of our body and mind. This practice will help you build a daily practice to manage feelings of being overwhelmed, stressed, and to regulate sleep patterns, and move from reacting to responding on a more regular basis. The experience will be deeply relaxing and offer you various tools to reinvigorate your resolutions and energy as we move into the holiday season and winter months.
