Yin Yoga is a practice of awareness and letting go. It´s a physically and mentally healing practice which stimulates qi flow through our fascia and meridians. It brings together the three bodies: physical, astral (emotions) and mental (thoughts), and clears the channels (meridians). Yin Yoga gently stimulates mobility in our joints as we relax our muscles and deepen our inner awareness. This will all have a calming effect on the body and mind.
These 12 Yin Yoga masterclasses will give you the opportunity to explore your inner world. The practice can be challenging on all levels and is suitable for yoga practitioners and yoga teachers alike. Each class will focus on a specific area in the body and the related meridians, based on traditional Chinese medicine and the five-element theory.

About Master Classes at Yogayama
Master Classes are taught by our most experienced and skilled teachers. This series is right for you if you are a serious practitioner, or a teacher, who has a desire to learn in more depth than can happen in a regular class offered to the general public.
In a Master Class, you can expect to work step by step toward a particular peak posture or set of postures. The practice will prepare you for the peak by addressing the three types of challenge that can come with bringing the body into new experience: challenges about strength, about openness, or about knowledge and skill. The teacher will adjust their instructions and sequence, as the practice happens, based on what you, the student, present.
In this class, you can also expect that there is more detailed explanation than you would find in a regular class, about the purpose of the particular work we are doing at any point; and how it fits into the context of the underlying philosophy of asana practice. If time allows, there may be a short discussion about the practice after it happens.
Choose if you want to join all 12 classes or one och several single classes. If you want to book a single class, please e-mail info@yogayama.se
Classes will be teached in Swedish or English depending on the participants.
