Are you the franchisee we’re looking for?

The benefits of joining a franchise system are the access to an existing and proven concept and a well-known brand while also benefiting from economies of scale. Most structures are already set up and you will be focusing on running your business and taking care of your students from day one of opening.

Having more than 10 years of experience in the industry we will assist you in a variety of areas. In addition to ongoing conceptual development, we will help you to find and decorate premises (with our architect), prepare you for an efficient booking and business system, day-to-day management, optimized scheduling, budgeting, staffing, contract management, equipment, marketing and PR, procurement of services and products, quality assurance, as well as economic and legal issues. You will be able to participate in an expanded, central management team for business development and exchange of experiences. In addition, you will be a part of our international network in the yoga world and in constantly working  to deepen our knowledge of the yogic philosophy.

Criteria as a Yogayama Franchisee:
– As a franchisee, you run your own Yogayama with total responsibility for daily business, staff, sales and business results.
– We would like to see  previous business operating experience  (preferably in the service sector).
– You have a solid understanding of “Yoga as a tool for development”.
– You have good local knowledge about the market in which you intend to start your Yogayama .
– You understand and appreciate our values.

The Yogayama Story: the short version
In 2004, Yogayama opened a full scale holistic yoga center in Stockholm and became the first major yoga center in Scandinavia.
In 2012, Yogayama launched a 200-hour Yogayama Teacher Training, which has now grown into a solid international yoga teacher education with several hundred graduated students and is certified by Yoga Alliance
In 2013, Yogayama launched its own skin care series “Yogayama Organic” that followed the highest certification level for organically produced products.
In 2014, Yogayama took the next step and extended the Teacher Training to offer the Yogayama TT 500-hour certified by Yoga Alliance.
In 2015, Yogayama opened it’s second studio in Stockholm – Yogayama Sjöstaden – in the southern part of the city.
Since 2016, Yogayama enters the franchise business and we expand through franchisees who open their own businesses. Yogayama signs up it’s first studios in Sweden to be launched in 2017 – Yogayama Norrköping and Yogayama Göteborg.
In 2017 Yogayama launches their new website, the first step of the e-learning business platform towards the vision to become a university of yoga.

The Yogayama Concept:
Yogayama is a well-established brand and has built a wide range of yoga styles and a large number of classes with well-trained teachers and guest teachers / speakers from all around the globe.

We have an international certified, solid teacher training “Yogayama Teacher Training”. The education covers 200-500 hours of subjects such as practical yoga training, philosophy, ethics, anatomy, physiology, Sanskrit and pedagogy. In addition, the education focuses on yoga as a lifestyle, how it can be used as a helpful tool in today’s society as well as the latest international research in yoga.

Our shops offer a carefully selected range of products that are Fair-trade? labeled, organically grown and/or locally produced.

Our Yogayama food partners offer healthy food and beverages with the aim of good commodities and organic thinking – if nature is good, we will be too!

Our treatments are based on methods and techniques from the Ayurvedic medicine where treatments are included as a natural part of the endeavor to balance the body and thus promote the self-healing process.

Our franchise concept is based on ethics and morals and won the prize “The Future Franchise” by the Swedish Franchise association – Svensk Franchise – in cooperation with SEB – one of the largest banks in Sweden with the following motivation:
