A class for those who are new to yoga and would like an introduction to the basics of this system (which is the root of many popular styles of yoga today). Explore what the practice of yoga means – both on and off the mat. Practice asana (the body postures), the foundation of pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and also learn the philosophical aspects of yoga. The class moves through sun salutations, specific standing and seated postures and then the body and nervous system calm down with the help of the finishing sequence.
