Jonas Rådahl is a senior teacher who has been practicing and studying yoga for nearly 20 years. As a teacher he strives to educate in a fun and relaxed manner, yet encouraging the student to take a challenge when the time is right. Safety, curiosity and light-heartedness are words that define his approach to teaching asana. Jonas seeks to balance his deep knowledge in the authentic yoga system while creating space where students, from different walks of life, with varied personal needs, can reap the benefits of the practice. He teaches Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin classes, in addition to a weekly experimental lab and periodic workshops.
Jonas began studying yoga in India in his mid 20’s, and later trained with Canadian yoga pioneers Ron Reid and Marla Meenakshi Joy in Toronto. Since 2006, he has devoted himself to teaching yoga full-time in a variety of settings and countries, ranging from five-star resorts in Hong Kong to rustic retreats in Bali. Jonas is a lover of the arts and the beauty of the mystical experience. He lives a healthy and vibrant lifestyle, and aims to inspire his students to do the same. Jonas has a natural curiosity for knowledge. On top of his academic background in psychology and physiology (Stockholm University and KI) Jonas keeps educating himself in both the anatomy and physiology of the body as well as exploring the layers of his own yoga practice. Professionally he started out as a health food chef, learning as an apprentice from one of Sweden’s first pioneers in the field. From an early age Jonas was intrigued by expressing himself creatively. The magical fusion came to be Yoga; where health and creativity could merge. A loving relationship ingrained in his yoga classes, usually through carefully selected music enhancing the atmosphere of the room.
Jonas also has experience in photography and have had bite at both film and sound editing. His love for music has brought him to further explore the synergy of sound and yoga, currently expressed through composing music for clients in the Yoga Community.

“No matter the size of the yoga class, Jonas will make each person feel like they belong, touching the heart of his students in some way. My personal opinion is that, it’s great when a yoga teacher really knows their stuff. Jonas is a good example, explaining medical benefits of postures and variations for people with injuries, physical limitations demonstrates clearly his knowledge and credibility.
